Early involvement with Barnhill’s Preconstruction Team enables the Owner and Design Team to evaluate all aspects of cost, schedule and constructability. The result is a design phase that moves quickly, a final building design that meets the programmatic, aesthetic and functional needs of the client and a project that is delivered on time and within budget.

Services include budget development, design and constructability review, schedule development, value engineering, site logistics review and cost assessment.

Design/Build Services
Barnhill Contracting Company has extensive experience with the design/build delivery system. Often, when projects are expedited or an owner desires a single source of contact, the design/build contract is utilized. Using this method, the owner contracts with Barnhill to design and manage the project delivery process. Barnhill has long-standing relationships with design professionals and welcomes the opportunity to collaborate on projects.

Construction Management
Our background as a builder gives Barnhill a unique perspective on managing projects. We know what it takes to build—and that expertise is put to work for the owner. As a construction manager, our job is to understand the expectations of the entire team (owner, design team and trade contractors) and to collaborate to find the best solutions to any problems that arise.
