The Albemarle Building and Hill Hall at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill were both honored with awards during the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas Excellence in Construction event. The Albemarle Building received a Merit Award. The building measures 192,370-square feet over 12 floors and included a complete interior renovation of the structure which anchors the State of North Carolina’s Government Complex in downtown Raleigh. Hill Hall received both the Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction and the BIM Award for Excellence in Building Information Modeling. The Hill Hall project transformed the 109-year old structure into a state-of-the-art recital hall for the University.
Congratulations to our project teams and to our Building Division!
